The star of more than 150 films -- including "Spartacus," "The Defiant Ones," "Some Like it Hot" and "Operation Petticoat" -- died of cardiac arrest Sept. 29 at age 85.
His daughter, Jamie Lee, gave her first interview since his death to TV's "The Talk" Friday.
During the interview with hosts Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne and Leah Remini, Curtis did a humorous imitation of her late father, then went on to say: "The invention of Tony Curtis was his life ... . He was not a father. He was not interested in being a father. Now, by the way, that's not a slam against him. He was very clear. He did what he was supposed to do from a financial standpoint, which was honorable for him to do. But he was not an involved father and, therefore, I look at him much more from the perspective of being like all of you: a fan of him."
