James Van Der Beek's wife Kimberly Van Der Beek gives birth to son

Kimberly Van Der Beek has given birth to a son, her husband, Hollywood actor James Van Der Beek, announced via Twitter.

"Had my first son this morning ... Well, actually, my wife had him. I just caught him. Wow. Heart expanding way faster than my brain," the former "Dawson's Creek" star tweeted.
"If you could bottle up and distribute this feeling, I swear there'd be no more war. #fatherhood."
UsMagazine said the Van Der Beeks married a year and a half ago and are the parents of a 17-month-old daughter.
James was previously married to actress Heather McComb from 2003 to 2010.
