'Ice Age' rakes in $46 million, tops 'Amazing Spider-Man'

The animated "Ice Age: Continental Drift" iced the No. 1 spot at the U.S. box office this weekend by raking in $46 million.

The film, fourth in a series, features the voices of Ray Romano and Queen Latifah, among others.
"The Amazing Spider-Man" took in a health $35 million for second place.
All studio estimates of gross U.S. box office receipts are via Box Office Mojo.
"Ted" was third with $22.14 million; the animated "Brave" fourth with $10.69 million; "Magic Mike" fifth with $9.03 million; "Savages (2012)" sixth with $8.73 million; "Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection" seventh with $5.6 million; "Katy Perry: Part of Me" eighth with $3.73 million; and "Moonrise Kingdom" ninth with $3.6 million.
The animated "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" was 10th with $3.5 million.
