Hunter did, in fact, receive a group-date rose from Katie after he showed her some sweet pictures of his kids.

"I don't want to sound cocky or overconfident, but there is no one else like me," Hunter boasted on the show.

"As far as these guys kissing Katie, I don't care -- hug her all you want. My relationship with Katie is as strong as it could be right now, and it's only going to get stronger."

Greg Grippo said he didn't understand what Katie saw in Hunter, and Aaron Clancy called Hunter "two-faced" and said he was coming across as "fake."

During the cocktail party preceding the fourth Rose Ceremony of the season, Hunter told the cameras he was already picturing his hometown date with Katie, and multiple guys grew angry about Hunter "monopolizing" Katie's time when he already had a rose.

Hunter is "an expressive, passionate and outgoing person who does not believe in holding back," according to ABC.

And The Bachelorette viewers have definitely see that so far -- but will Hunter go all the way and end up as Katie's last man standing?

Until viewers can watch more of Katie and Hunter's romance unfold on The Bachelorette, let's learn some things about this bachelor right now.

Below is a list of six facts Reality TV World has compiled about Hunter Montgomery.

Hunter Montgomery prides himself on being a romantic

Hunter says he's always been a romantic.

Even as a child, Hunter can recall writing sweet love letters to girls and being the guy to surprise his crushes with mix tapes or flowers.

Hunter claims that he will never stop believing in romance because "when you hit the mark, there really is no better feeling."

The bachelor considers himself a mental health warrior

In addition to being a software strategist, Hunter says he also works in mental health and recovery with addicts.

Hunter said the night he met Katie on the show, he was actually celebrating his fourteenth year of sobriety, to the exact day.

Hunter recalled of his dark past in a March 2017 Instagram post, "I was in a hopeless state of mind, and I was trapped in a prison of fear, selfishness, resentment, and dishonesty."

"I woke up every day to a constant struggle and fight against my own existence. I was nauseated at every aspect of myself. But one day, I was finally beaten into a state of willingness, and I decided that I was ready to start living," he continued.

"I found a solution in a group of folks who were just like me, who were once in that hopeless state of mind, and I fought for what they had."

Hunter now challenges people to talk about their experiences and open up about their traumas, obstacles and hardships.

"I'm really used to wearing my heart on my sleeve and telling my story without holding anything back because the only way that you can really affect people is if you're having those real conversations and if you're being vulnerable, and I think that's what we need more of," Hunter said during a late June episode of Tayshia Adams' Click Bait with Bachelor Nation podcast.

"People going through a battle and coming out on the other side, I think that's what people need to hear."

Hunter has been married and divorced before

Hunter married a woman with whom he was convinced he'd spend the rest of his life, but after several years of marriage, he admitted that he totally "shifted priorities."

Hunter said he began working too much and therefore drifted apart from his wife.

"I failed at marriage... I never imagined divorce for myself," Hunter cried on a recent episode of The Bachelorette.

"It's absurd. So I tell you that, [Katie], because when I'm in that position again, I will cherish it. I will never stop maintaining that love."

Hunter said on his Click Bait appearance that he had decided to share his divorce story during a group date because he wanted to treat it like a one-on-one date with Katie since time on The Bachelorette is so limited.

Hunter has called his kids "amazing" and said he lives to make them happy.

Hunter admitted the divorce negatively impacted his children, which still hurts him to this day, but he will fight for love from now on and never give up on marriage if he's ever in that position again.

Katie has defended Hunter against critics and revealed he has Tourette syndrome

Katie rushed to Hunter's defense after viewers criticized the bachelor's physical tics and self-described "aggressive" behavior during The Bachelorette episode when a group of guys played Bash Ball.

After Hunter was shown brutally tackling his opponents -- including Michael Allio -- during Bash Ball and bragging about how he was certain he'd receive a rose from Katie, Hunter was apparently subjected to backlash.

The Bachelorette fans also poked fun at Hunter's frequent habit of clearing his throat and sinuses on camera, and Katie is apparently not okay with people trash-talking Hunter.

"Remember you only get to see a portion of who these men are," Katie tweeted on July 5. "For example, you probably didn't know Hunter has #Tourettes."

Katie therefore added, "So I encourage everyone to think twice before commenting negative things about these men. #TheBachelorette."

Tourette syndrome is a disorder that involves repetitive movements or unwanted sounds, known as tics, that can't be easily controlled, according to Mayo Clinic.

Hunter subsequently posted a video of himself addressing the mixture of hate and support he's been receiving from The Bachelorette fans. Hunter said the way he's been portrayed on the show has left him feeling "miserable."

Despite being in "a bad place," Hunter said, "For every hateful DM, there was one of hope and one saying that they had a son with the same experience on the Tourette side and saying that they know my true character and things like that. And what I want you to know, for the people sending those messages, you matter and thank you, seriously. It means a lot."

Hunter first addressed his Tourette syndrome diagnosis via Instagram Stories on July 5, according to People.

"Just to be clear. The snorting and sniffling is due to minor Tourette's, which I've had my entire life," he reportedly wrote. "Thx."
