Hilary Duff drops restraining order against alleged stalker

Actress Hilary Duff and her former boyfriend, Joel Madden, are dropping a temporary restraining order against one of their alleged stalkers.

Documents were filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court by the stars' lawyers, requesting the dismissal of a restraining order against celebrity photographer David Joseph Klein, TMZ.com reported.

Duff and Madden filed the restraining orders against Klein and his roommate, Maksim Miakovsky, in October.

They claim to have feared for their safety and requested a judge order the alleged stalkers to stay at least 100 yards away from Duff, her sister Haylie, Madden and his twin brother, Benji.

Miakovsky was arrested in November on charges of making criminal threats and stalking Duff.
