Rebecca Karen Beatty, 54, of Aliquippa is facing charges of reckless endangerment and permitting an unauthorized person to drive following the June 10 incident. She waived her right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday, the Beaver County Times reported Thursday.
Beatty told Ambridge police she was picking up her niece, Cheyanne Beatty, from a dance program at Ambridge Area High School about 8 p.m. when she found another car had parked too close to her driver's side door, preventing her from entering.
The woman said she had her niece get behind the wheel and back the car out of the space. Police said the car struck two parked vehicles, pushing one across a sidewalk and into another car.
Police said there were no injuries.
