Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart get married in New Mexico

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart were married in New Mexico Tuesday after nearly eight years of dating.

Ford, 67, and Flockhart, 45, got engaged in February 2009. They are the parents of an adopted son named Liam.

The celebrity Web site TMZ said Gov. Bill Richardson performed the wedding ceremony at his mansion in Santa Fe and the couple's marriage license was filed Wednesday in the county clerk's office.

Ford -- best known for his work in the "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" film franchises -- is filming "Cowboys and Aliens" in New Mexico, TMZ noted.

Flockhart is a cast member of TV's "Brothers & Sisters." She previously starred in the hit small-screen comedy "Ally McBeal."
