UPI News Service, 06/15/2006

Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa says he and his son have received death threats in New York from men chanting things like "John Gotti rules."

Sliwa said he and his 2-year-old son, Anthony Chester, were at a park when a group of white men approached them, the New York Daily News reported.

"They said that both my son and I deserved to have bullets put into our heads and they walked on," Sliwa said.

Sliwa appealed to reputed mobster John Gotti Jr., a father of five, to "spread the word" so the hateful comments might stop.

He said the offenders have often shouted "John Gotti's the man" and "John Gotti rules."
