Kate Gosselin will apparently be telling a story that will be familiar to Jon & Kate Plus 8 viewers during her performance next week on Dancing with the Stars.

Gosselin is planning a Jon & Kate-themed routine with her professional partner Tony Dovolani playing the role of her ex-husband Jon Gosselin for next Monday night's tenth-season performance show, she told E! News after Tuesday night's results show.

"It's my story over the past two years," Kate told E! News about the routine. "We're very, very excited."

In addition, Kate described the routine as "dramatic" -- and Dovolani agreed.

"Lots of drama," he told E! News.

"Oh my gosh, so much drama," replied Kate.

Kate and Dovolani were able to survive the tenth season's first elimination during Tuesday night's live results show despite the fact that they finished with 31 out of 60 possible points -- placing them second-to-last on the judges' leaderboard.

Last night's results show featured Dancing with the Stars' judges giving the ten remaining couples the task of telling "a story" -- but not necessarily their story -- with the routines they do next week.

"We're issuing a challenge for next week," lead judge Len Goodman told the contestants.  "We want each dance to show a story.  Now we don't want it to work with gimmicks and tricks, we're not interested in that.  We want to see a story through the dance."

Jon and Kate's divorce was finalized in December, ending their 10-year marriage. After she was announced as a Dancing with the Stars celebrity participant, he stated he was "thrilled" for her and offered her his "support."
