A South African man has landed the unique job of bothering the geese on a nature reserve.

David Mapisa was brought on board at Lake Michelle and tasked with harassing the more than 300 Egyptian geese that flew in from North Africa and began crowding out the other birds on the reserve.
Officials tell the Cape Argus that the interlopers are quite aggressive and prevent the native birds from nesting.
Mapisa is apparently a quick study in his new job. Officials told the Argus that the native birds are starting to return to their traditional hangouts.
