The paranormal investigators were killed on Tuesday in Sparks, NV, along with a third unidentified man as a result of alleged domestic violence, Us Weekly reported.

Mark and Debby, who were estranged spouses, were tracked to their daughter's apartment at which they were found dead, shortly after another man's body was discovered dead in Debby's home.

Mark was reportedly holding Debby hostage in their daughter's place, and after potential negotiations flopped with police, a S.W.A.T. team busted down the apartment door -- only to find both individuals dead.

Authorities said Mark was a suspect in the killing of the unidentified man found in the apartment where Debby had been living prior to the incident, according to Us.

Mark and Debby had a history of domestic assault charges. Mark was charged with domestic battery for strangling and kidnapping Debby in August after she had filed a restraining order against him. The pair's adult daughter was charged as an accomplice.

Since news of the couple's death surfaced, fans have taken to their Facebook page to share memories of ghost hunting with them and their condolences.
