Georgia May Jagger credited her mom, Jerry Hall, for helping inspire the new line of fashion blue jeans she unveiled in London this week.

Jagger, the 19-year-old daughter of Hall and Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger, said Hudson by Georgia May Jagger began with research close to home.

"It all started with me looking at pictures of people wearing jeans I admired, like mum in the Seventies," she told Vogue.com.

Hall was a striking fashion model in the 1970s and Georgia May has been a model for Hudson jeans since 2009.

Jagger collaborated with Hudson creative director Benjamin Taverniti on the new line, which includes lace up the sides and flattering mid-rise shaping, The Daily Telegraph said Saturday.

The newspaper added Hall attended the unveiling at Selfridge's decked out in a "skinny, cropped style" that was named after her.
