The former Wham! singer and solo artist said the two will get married in London "without the whole veil and gown thing," the BBC reported.
Britain will begin allowing civil partnership ceremonies for gay couples Dec. 21 and Michael said his ceremony will be "relatively soon after it comes in, probably early next year."
George said he would first attend the wedding of singer Elton John and David Furnish, which is expected to take place Dec. 21.
