Gene Simmons' daughter Sophie Simmons called out Katey Sagal this week after the actress went public about a past affair with her dad.

The 24-year-old aspiring singer and former "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" co-star said on Tuesday's episode of the "Allegedly" podcast that Sagal was "low" for writing about her fling with Gene Simmons in the memoir "Grace Notes: My Recollections."

"I feel like it's no one's business, really," Simmons said. "I mean, if Katey wants to write a book about her life, cool, but to write about someone and then have it affect their family I feel like is a really kind of low place to go to try and sell a book."

"She should probably look at her own family -- I'm just saying -- before pointing fingers because other people could write books, too," she added.

Sagal had said in Grace Notes that she first met Gene Simmons in the 1970s.

She claimed she had an on-again, off-again relationship with the Kiss frontman for years until she married Freddie Beckmeier in 1977.

"At first, I thought Gene was really weird," the actress recalled in the memoir, according to "Extra." "I took him home with me that night because he was quite persuasive, and I like men."

Sagal married her fourth husband, "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter, in 2004, while Gene Simmons married Simmons' mom, actress Shannon Tweed, in 2011 after nearly three decades together.

"It doesn't really affect us -- we're so tight as a family," Simmons told "Allegedly."

"My parents are so crazy in love. I mean, congrats to the one groupie who thought they got ahead, but apparently didn't."

"Gene Simmons Family Jewels" starred Gene Simmons, Shannon Tweed as well as their children Sophie and Nick. The reality series aired on A&E for seven seasons before being canceled in 2012.
