A crash left a garbage truck dangling from the side of a retaining wall in Massachusetts on Wednesday morning.
The fire department said Newton Police had closed a nearby road as they prepared to lift the truck to safety.
Officials secured and suspended the truck as they awaited a heavy wrecker to lift it about 11:30 a.m.
"Crews are standing by at this time. A heavy wrecker has been called in to lift the truck back up the embankment," Newton fire said.
Fire crews eventually managed to recover the truck after using two 75-pound tow trucks to lift it back to street level.
No injuries were reported and authorities were investigating the cause of the crash.
