Michele Grasso had disappeared from his home in Taormina, Italy, in 2010 when police sought to arrest him for drug dealing, The Guardian reported.

In his absence, he was sentenced to five years in prison and a $31,608 fine for drug dealing by a Sicilian court in 2011.

Then, in December, Grasso posted a photo on Facebook titled "Christmas in London." He also posted photos of himself with wax statues at Madame Tussauds, as well as him at the London Eye, Tower Bridge and Oxford Circus.

Meanwhile, Italian police working with British authorities caught up to Grasso and arrested him, the newspaper said.

An Italian news source said Grasso was put on a flight back to Italy Saturday and is now in prison in Rome.
