Feisty rapper Foxy Brown has been rapped again for allegedly hitting a neighbor's face with a wireless handheld device, police said.
Brown, serving three years' probation for attacking a pair of manicurists, could wind up in jail over the new charges, the New York Daily News reported Thursday.
"We have filed a violation of probation with the court," said Jack Ryan, a spokesman for the city Probation Department.
The platinum-selling artist, real name Inga Marchand, was arrested and arraigned Tuesday on charges of felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon stemming from an alleged confrontation with neighbor Arleen Raymond.
On July 30, Raymond said she was walking home from work when Foxy allegedly hurled a BlackBerry at her, splitting her lip and knocking a tooth loose.
Marchand's mother told the Daily News that Raymond started it.
"She said, 'Let's fight now that you're alone,'" Judith Marchand told the Daily News. "My daughter pushed her away and may have brushed her with the phone."
The two live a few doors from each other. Law enforcement sources said they have argued over the volume of the stereo in Marchand's car, the newspaper reported.
