FOX's 'Forever Eden' keeps bleeding viewers as fourth episode draws only 4.3 million viewers

So much for airing forever. At this rate FOX's new "never ending" Forever Eden series will be lucky to still be on the airwaves come April.
Forever Eden, which has struggled mightily since its premiere, hit a new low in its third week of broadcast, as Monday's March 15 fourth episode (the series premiered with a two-part debut on March 1 and 2) continued its ratings plummet, placing a distant fourth in its time period and drawing only 4.3 million overall viewers and a 2.2/6 rating/share in the all-important Adults 18-49 demographic according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The horrendous performance continues what has been a dramatic ratings slide following only a so-so premiere. Premiering Monday, March 1 with a special American Idol: Uncut broadcast as its lead-in, Eden only delivered 11 million viewers and a 5.2/13 Adults 18-49 rating/share -- a huge drop from Uncut's 19.3 million viewers and an 8.3 rating/22 share.
FOX hoped that the news would be better the following night when Eden's second episode had the benefit of a true American Idol broadcast as it's benefit, and Eden did draw 11.8 million viewers and a 5.2/13 Adults 18-49 rating/share, but those numbers were still disappointing considering Idol drew 24.9 million viewers and 10.7 rating/28 share and Eden's viewership slipped noticeably in its second half-hour.
