Former The Bachelor star Chris Soules will soon be making another reality TV appearance.

After starring on Season 19 of The Bachelor, competing on Dancing with the Stars and Worst Cooks in America, and then making a cameo on Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, Soules is returning to ABC with an appearance on Nick Viall's edition of The Bachelor.

"I will be on Nick's season giving him advice," Soules, 35, told People.

Bachelor Nation is certainly a small world, as Soules previously dated Kaitlyn Bristowe, who went on to star as Season 11's The Bachelorette, which marked Viall's second stint on the franchise. (Viall finished as Bristowe's runner-up).

"I don't know why they're having us give advice when we've been unsuccessful on this journey," added Soules, who split from his ex-fiancee Whitney Bischoff seven months after proposing on The Bachelor.

Soules also stopped by Ben Higgins' edition of The Bachelor to offer the humble star some advice and support. Former Bachelors Sean Lowe and Jason Mesnick joined the conversation.

Soules and Bischoff got engaged during the final Rose Ceremony of his Bachelor season, which aired in March 2015. However, they announced their breakup two months later with a joint statement insisting the relationship ended mutually and amicably.

"We stay in touch," Soules told Reality TV World of Bischoff during a late May appearance at Foxwoods Resort Casino's "Bachelor Weekend."

"It's like any relationship where you date somebody or are engaged and then you're no longer together. I mean, we don't talk every day, but I still care about her, and we stay in touch. I wish her well occasionally and she's somebody who will always be in my thoughts and prayers."

About a month later, Bischoff announced her engagement to Ricky Angel, a regional sales manager based out of her native Chicago. Soules told People he was not at all surprised by the July 2016 news and was happy for Bischoff.

Season 21 of The Bachelor starring Viall is set to premiere January 2, 2017 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
