Former MTV veejay Lisa Kennedy Montgomery gives birth to daughter

Former MTV veejay Kennedy and her husband, David Lee, have a new daughter.

Lisa Kennedy Montgomery gave birth to Pele Valentina in Los Angeles July 1, People magazine reported Tuesday.

It's the first child for Kennedy, 32, and Lee, a former professional snowboarder who now teaches the sport. They have been married for about five years.

An outspoken political conservative, Kennedy is a regular panelist on VH1's "Best Week Ever" and the syndicated "Hollywood Squares" game show.
