Former "Dawson's Creek" actor, Josh Crouch, was killed on New York's West Side Highway by a hit-run driver, the New York Post reported.

The 24-year-old actor, who recently has been an emcee with the band Mindspray, was hit by an unknown driver at West 12th Street early Tuesday morning. The death has left those closest to him shocked.
"It's still unbelievable," said Mike Weary, a friend of the actor.
In a 1998 episode of the popular teen TV drama, Crouch had played the role of Kenny and followed that up with a role on TV's "Darktales" in 2000.
Crouch's friends said that the actor had plans to travel to upstate Scawtauqua Tuesday to visit his girlfriend and they had no idea why the young actor was traveling on the highway so early in the morning, the newspaper said.
