Former "Ally McBeal" star Jane Krakowski has signed to head the "The Girlie Show," a show within the NBC show, "30 Rock," about a live TV program in New York.

"The Girlie Show" is a network variety show that serves as a backdrop for a workplace comedy, starring Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin, The Hollywood Reporter said.
In the pilot, Rachel Dratch, a "Saturday Night Live" veteran, was the "Girlie Show" star, but now she will appear as different characters in multiple episodes.
The "30 Rock" cast also includes Jack McBrayer, Tracy Morgan and Scott Adsit -- with Fey, Lorne Michaels, JoAnn Alfano, Marci Klein and David Miner executive producing, comingsoon.net reported.
