Al Uzielli, great-great-grandson of Henry Ford and cousin to Ford Motor Co. chief executive officer Bill Ford Jr. has become Ford's man in Hollywood.

The son of Henry Ford II's daughter Anne Ford and stockbroker Giancarlo Uzielli, Al Uzielli has been an independent film producer for 15 years and is now a full-time consultant to Ford Global Brand Entertainment, reported the Detroit News Monday.
The new Beverly Hills office was established to create closer ties with entertainment to place Ford vehicles in high-profile television and movie projects.
None of Detroit's automakers has ever had an office in Hollywood to match "vehicles" for their vehicles.
Uzielli's most notable film was "Bongwater," a minor cult hit that gave Jack Black, Luke Wilson and Brittany Murphy their starts.
A high-profile placement in a movie or TV show can be worth millions to an automaker and up to now, all the automakers have relied on Los Angeles-based third-party companies to be their link to Hollywood.
