Fixer Upper is getting a spinoff starring Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines!

The half-hour, behind-the-scenes episodes of Behind the Design will feature Joanna unveiling the process she goes through when attempting to create impressive designs showcased in each Fixer Upper episode.
Joanna talked about the upcoming spinoff when she teased some "fun news" in a Wednesday Instagram video post.
"Hey guys!" Joanna said in the passenger seat of her car while Chip was driving.
"Hey ya'll! Chip and Joanna Gaines here in New York City!" Chip chimed in.
"We're having a good time here in New York City. We wanted to tell you some fun news. We get a lot of questions about the designs and what goes on [during] Fixer Upper and how we get from point A to Z when it comes to these houses and these projects from a design standpoint. So we have a new series coming out this year called Behind the Design," Joanna announced.
"Ooo, I like the sound of that," Chip said with a big smile.
"[The new show] focuses on each project and you'll get more of an inside scoop of how we came up with a lot of the decisions and the design elements that we got to incorporate," Joanna explained.
"When is it?" Chip asked with a little nudge on his wife's shoulder.
"You'll actually get to see a sneak peek of it this Tuesday. It's our last episode of Season 4, and you won't want to miss it. It's one of our favorites, one of our most dramatic ones," Joanna teased of Fixer Upper's March 28 episode at 10PM ET/PT.
"It's amazing how fast these seasons go," Chip said.
"It goes by really fast," Joanna agreed.
