"Extra" co-host Dayna Devon gave birth to a daughter Friday morning, her first child with husband, Dr. Brent Moelleken.

Emmi Reese Moelleken was born by C-section just after midnight and weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce, a publicist for the celebrity TV show told People magazine.

In addition to her "Extra" duties, Devon has appeared on several TV shows including "The West Wing,""Charmed,""Gilmore Girls" and "Desperate Housewives," usually portraying a reporter, People said.

"Extra" previously announced a lineup of guest hosts to appear with Mark McGrath during Devon's maternity leave, including Celine Dion, Tommy Lee, George Hogan and Donald Trump.
