Seattle artists tried to live on a floating island that would engage artistic expression -- and it worked -- until the island's anchor got stuck in the mud.

John Sutton, Ben Beres and Zac Culler were forced to cut anchor and take their floating island to a different point on Lake Washington after bad weather pushed it dangerously close to a bridge, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported Wednesday.
After just one day, the three artists were soaked from high waves and the anchor on the island was dragging along the lakebed.
The floating island has been docked at the Warren G. Magnuson Park in Seattle and the artistic trio were deciding what to do next.
