Ex-'The Bachelor' bachelorette: "ABC will do anything to create drama"

By Christopher Rocchio, 01/18/2010

A former The Bachelor bachelorette doesn't believe allegations that Rozlyn Papa engaged in an "inappropriate relationship" with producer Ryan Callahan during filming for the ABC reality dating series.

"You have to be so careful on that show because someone could step on your foot and they'll make it look like you broke your toe! ABC will do anything to create drama," the bachelorette, who asked to remain anonymous, told RadarOnline in a Saturday report.

"Even if they were just cuddling, the producers can easily make it look like something more."

Last week's The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love broadcast concluded with Papa being eliminated from the competition after being confronted by host Chris Harrison about the alleged incident.

Papa has stated the relationship with Callahan was not sexual nor even romantic, however Harrison has claimed Papa is "definitely not telling the truth" with her denials, which fellow bachelorette Ashley Elmore has also refuted -- claiming she was told Papa and Callahan engaged in "cuddling" and "snuggling."

"I don't see what Rozlyn would see in Ryan at all," another anonymous ex-bachelorette told RadarOnline.

"He's kind of overweight, he's not good looking at all and I thought he was a bit of a douche. He's totally not cool either."

While the ex-bachelorette doesn't necessarily believe the allegations, she said it isn't impossible for a contestant and staffer to form a bond.

"You spend so much time working with the producers so it's very easy to get connected with them," she told RadarOnline. "Especially when you work long hours and have cocktails with them so I could see how it happened."
