Patricia Alcivar, 33, nicknamed "Patty Boom Boom" in the ring, said her looks have helped her earn a 4-0 record in the pros with three knockouts by causing opponents to underestimate her, the New York Daily News reported Friday.
"That's my secret weapon -- the looks. People don't expect what they see in the ring," the former runway and fitness model said.
Alcivar said she has her sights set on Anna Maria Torres, the current World Boxing Council Super Flyweight champion.
"My goal is to own the world title and get this itch out of my system," she said.
Martin Snow, 51, Alcivar's trainer and owner of the Trinity Boxing Gym, said the boxer is also set apart from others by her intensity.
"She had a little compassion in the amateurs but in the pros she's blood-thirsty. She's out there to kill somebody," he said.
