District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. said Jason Wang, 45, who was fired from his position as a computer support worker at North General Hospital, hacked into the hospital's computer system a few days after he was fired in September and tampered with the internal network, which is home to information including test results and other patient information, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

Wang allegedly using a doctor's information and password to send an e-mail to North General staffers alleging racism on the part of Michele Prisco, the hospital's vice president and chief information officer.

Wang, who was arrested Friday, faces charges of computer trespass, unauthorized use of a computer and fourth-degree computer tampering.
