Eva Longoria plans to divorce professional basketball player Tony Parker, her husband of three years, sources told Us Weekly.

The breakup reportedly came after Longoria discovered Parker had been frequently exchanging personal text messages with a mutual female friend for nearly a year.

"Eva is heartbroken by the betrayal," one insider told the magazine.

"Once the trust was lost, the marriage was over," added a second insider. "Eva truly thought she was going to grow old with Tony and have children with him. She's inconsolable."

Longoria is best known for her work on TV's "Desperate Housewives." Parker plays basketball for the NBA's San Antonio Spurs and France's national team.
