Legendary British rocker Eric Clapton has become a father for the fifth time, E! Online reported Friday.

Wife Melia McEnery, 29, gave birth Tuesday in London to a girl, the couple's third child since their secret 2002 marriage.
Clapton, 59, has an older daughter, Ruth, 19, by former partner Yvonne Kelly. His only son, Conor, by Italian actress Lory Del Santo, died in a fall from a New York apartment window in 1991 at age 4, a tragedy memorialized in Clapton's Grammy winning hit song "Tears in Heaven."
The other two children of McEnery and Clapton are 3-year-old Julie Rose and 2-year-old Ella Mae.
The Sun reported that both McEnery and the baby were doing well. The baby's name was not revealed.
