Emmy Award-winners Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess have signed a 3-year development deal with Paramount Pictures TV to come up with shows for CBS and its other networks, The Hollywood Reporter said.

CBS Entertainment Chief Nina Tassler worked with the duo during their short stint with "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" on the Eye Network.

"They are brilliant writers and incredibly charismatic people," Tassler told The Reporter. "Their characters are unique and beautifully crafted, and their storytelling expertise is virtually unparalleled."

Green and Burgess are currently wrapping up the sixth and final season of HBO's "The Sopranos."
