Liz Hurley says all of the clothes worn by her 3-year-old son Damien are chosen by Elton John, the gay British rocker whose flamboyant dress is legendary.

Hurley adds that John, who is the boy's godfather, does not pick inappropriate items for Damien, the Mirror reported Thursday.

"He gets little English boy's clothes, little sweaters and little shorts. He wears little socks too."

Elton and partner David Furnish go shopping twice a year for Damien, once for summer clothes and once to buy winter wear, Hurley says.

The costs for Damien's clothes are defrayed by U.S. billionaire Steve Bing, who pays $190,000 annually in support of his son.
