Celebrity interviewer Star Jones-Reynolds has made her final red carpet appearance for the E! cable network.

Her contract option for a second year was not picked up after the Emmy Awards, the New York Post reported Thursday.

"One year was enough," an E! insider told the newspaper.

Jones-Reynolds said she made the decision not to return to E! because she'll be too busy with her ABC TV talker, "The View," and promoting her book

"Shine: A Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Journey to Finding Love," due out Jan. 6.

But the insider told the Post E! officials told Jones-Reynolds they were not picking up her option and gave her permission to say it was her decision.

"Do you think Star would give up good money and a load of freebies from the goody bags and the dresses for a book? No way," the source said.

The new E! red carpet team will be comedian Kathy Griffin, Giuliana Depandi and Carson Kressley, the Post said.
