A mother of five in Bournemouth, England, said she is making thousands of dollars renting out her driveway to travelers at a nearby airport.

The Daily Telegraph said Friday in addition to Bournemouth resident Susan Omar, homeowners throughout England have begun renting out their driveways to motorists in an attempt to earn some extra cash.
"Customers who rent my driveway save a considerable amount over what they would pay if they parked at the airport so it represents good value to them," said Omar, who said she has made nearly $2,800.
Anthony Eskinazi said he created a company called Parkatmyhouse.com that helps individuals in need of parking in busy areas get connected with homeowners with available driveways.
Eskinazi, 26, told the Telegraph he came up with the idea for his unusual company while attempting to find a parking space on his way to a San Francisco Giants baseball game in the United States in 2006.
