Donald Driver feels winning Dancing with the Stars is just as big as winning the Super Bowl.

"I think it's the same," the NFL player told People following Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars fourteenth-season finale in which he and his professional partner Peta Murgatroyd were crowned the champions.

Driver compared his newfound dancing glory to winning the 2011 Super Bowl with his Green Bay Packers teammates.

"You have great moments [throughout both experiences]," Driver said, adding however, that there is one major difference between the two victories.

"It took me 13 years to win a Super Bowl. But it only took me one season to win a mirror ball. I've been watching the show for a long time and now I know what [J.R. Martinez] felt last year. That is truly something special. I feel the same way. Right now I'm on cloud nine."

While Murgatroyd -- who was the first professional and celebrity pairing ousted from Dancing with the Stars' last season, which marked her debut as a professional partner after previously being a member of the show's supplemental dance troupe -- doesn't have a Super Bowl win on her resume, she voiced similar thoughts about placing first in the competition.

"I feel incredible! I am still on cloud nine. We're just going to live it up! The other dancers are so amazing and I'm just so proud to be up there with them in the end," Murgatroyd told Us Weekly.
