Doctors tell country singer Gretchen Wilson to rest her voice
UPI News Service, 09/29/2005
Country singer Gretchen Wilson has been told by her doctors to rest her voice, she announced from Nashville Thursday.
Wilson's publicist Michele Schewitzer said there is "nothing urgent about her condition" but 15 months of non-stop touring are starting to take a toll on her vocal cords.
Wilson moved an Oct. 7 concert in Huntsville, Ala., to Dec. 17 and her Oct. 8 Perry, Ga., date to sometime in 2006.
Wilson will be ready for The Revolution Tour with Big & Rich and the Musik Mafia, which kicks off Nov. 4 in Houston, Schewitzer said.
