Derek Hough has joined the cast of "Nashville."

The 29-year-old professional dancer will appear in a recurring role on season three of the ABC series.

The "Dancing with the Stars" professional dancer will portray Noah West, "a beguiling and disarming" movie star, who is cast in a biopic about a famous country singer.

The character and Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) will likely cross paths, as season three opens with a pregnant Barnes heading to Hollywood.

"So excited for @derekhough from @DancingABC to be joining out fantastic cast!" the official Nashville writers Twitter posted Thursday. "Get pumped, #Nashies!! #ABClove."

Hough has appeared on 13 of the 18 seasons of "Dancing with the Stars," and has won the competition with his partner a record five times. The network announced he will return for Season 19 on Wednesday.

"Nashville" added Alexa Vega and Brette Taylor to the cast earlier this week. "Dancing with the Stars'" new season premieres September 15, while "Nashville's" third season premieres September 24.
