Dancing with the Stars eliminated Pentatonix member Scott Hoying and pro partner Rylee Arnold on "Wicked Night" during the Season 34 episode that aired Tuesday night on ABC.

Scott and Rylee were eliminated based on the combination of judges' scores and viewer votes they had received during the last two performance shows on "Dedication Night" and "Wicked Night."

Scott told Dancing with the Stars co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough that his journey on the show "has meant everything" to him.

"I'm so incredibly grateful for this and for everyone in the cast -- the crew, the pros. Everyone is so nice," Scott said in his final words.

"Rylee is my favorite person ever. I had so much fun. I learned so much. It's Wicked Night -- that's a perfect way to go!"

Rylee added that Scott had done an "amazing" job this season and she "couldn't have asked for a better partner."

Prior to Scott and Rylee's ouster, the 10 Dancing with the Stars celebrity and professional pairings each performed a routine to a song from Wicked, and many of the stars channeled the characters of Elphaba, Glinda and Fiyero in their routines.

The couples were scored by Dancing with the Stars judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and this week's guest judge, Wicked and Wicked: For Good director Jon M. Chu.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt and pro Mark Ballas topped the two-week judges' leaderboard with a total of 72 out of 80 possible points.

On Tuesday night, Whitney and Mark received 39 out of 40 possible points -- including the first 10s of the season -- from the judges after they performed a quickstep routine to "Popular."

Derek jumped out of his seat after the dance and yelled, "What?!"

Derek, who said the performance was "advanced" and "jam-packed" with content, gushed, "I feel like we are discovering a star before our eyes."

Carrie Ann noted how the upbeat routine was "unhinged in all the right ways," and Jon said he was "floating on air in a bubble" watching that performance.

Two celebrities tied for second place on the judges' leaderboard with a two-week total of 71 points: Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin.

For "Wicked Night," Jordan and pro partner Ezra Sosa took the stage with a rumba to "For Good," and they received 39 judges' points for the routine.

Derek called Jordan and Ezra's routine "so stunning," but he asked Jordan to be more expressive in her face going forward.

"When we say be more grounded, that's what we're talking about," he praised Jordan.

Robert and pro partner Witney Carson performed a 36-point worthy jazz routine to "Dancing Through Life" on Tuesday night.

Derek advised Robert to swap his hiking boots for dancing shoes because he's "meant to be a performer."

And Bruno called Robert and Witney's performance a "joyful, theatrical treat."

Fourth place on the leaderboard went to podcaster and social-media sensation Alix Earle and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy with a total of 70 points.

The pair earned 35 points on "Wicked Night" for their jazz dance to "What Is This Feeling?"

While Carrie Ann said it wasn't Alix's "most difficult dance" this season, she thought it was her "best dance" yet.

Derek also praised Alix and Val's "fantastic" storytelling ability.

The Traitors Season 3 winner Dylan Efron and pro partner Daniella Karagach placed fifth on the leaderboard with a total of 68 points.

After topping the leaderboard last week on "Dedication Night," Dylan and Daniella added 32 points to their total score for their rumba on "Wicked Night" to "I'm Not That Girl."

Bruno noted that Dylan's hips "have no problem at all," and he added, "In fact, sometimes you lost a little bit of control of it."

The judges agreed the rumba is a very difficult dance to do and that Dylan had done a good job with it.

Film and TV actress Elaine Hendrix and pro partner Alan Bersten finished with a two-week total of 66 points, landing them in sixth place on the judges' leaderboard.

Elaine and Alan performed a contemporary routine to "Defying Gravity" on Tuesday night that received 36 points from the judges.

Elaine and Alan's performance brought Carrie Ann to tears.

"I burst into tears because you were so truly in the moment," Carrie Ann shared. "It was beauty, elegant. I am so proud of you."

Derek told Elaine, who was experiencing some physical limitations, "You really are defying the odds."

The judge added, "You move with such grace and wisdom, and man, you're going to cherish that moment forever."

Seventh place on the two-week leaderboard went to Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel and pro partner Pasha Pashkov with a total of 65 points.

Danielle and Pasha impressed with an Argentine tango to "No Good Deed" for Wicked Night that received 36 points from the judges.

Carrie Ann said the dance was a "breakthrough" moment on the show for Danielle.

"That was a powerful woman in action on our dance floor," Carrie Ann gushed.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck and pro partner Jan Ravnik claimed eighth place on the leaderboard with a total of 61 points.

On Tuesday night, Jen and Jan took the stage with a 32-point worthy foxtrot to "As Long As You're Mine."

Bruno said that Jen's flow of movement "is improving a lot," and he noted, "It's not what you do, it's how you do it."

Scott and Rylee finished in ninth place on the two-week leaderboard with a total of 58 points.

Scott and Rylee unfortunately didn't receive enough votes for their contemporary routine to "The Wizard and I."

Before scoring Scott and Rylee 28 points, the judges agreed Scott's moves were a little sloppy.

"To learn a new style of dance and go out there is incredible," Jon said. "I wish some of the transitions were a little cleaner, but you swept me away to Oz."

Derek agreed with Jon's critique and asked Scott to "think of the dance as one continuous thought and not separate sentences."

And finally, comedian Andy Richter and pro partner Emma Slater landed in tenth -- and last -- place on the leaderboard with a total of 51 points.

Andy and Emma only received 27 points for their jazz routine to "One Short Day" on "Wicked Night."

Jon said he's "loved" watching Andy "every week break open," and he also acknowledged, "Wicked is about being the underdog and working your butt off to get there, and you have done that."
