"This sucks, I'm not going to lie! I really, really liked doing the show and I really had such a great time. I hope that I just proved I did the scariest thing I've ever done, and I tried my best and I had fun. I'm going to cry. It was just so fun, so fun. Thank you for having me!"

The five couples who were in jeopardy of elimination based on Monday night's judges' scores and home viewer votes were asked to dance again in attempt to save themselves on Tuesday night, earning additional scores from Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman as well as real-time votes from people watching at home.

Nikki and Gleb, who were one of the five couples, were sent packing after receiving the lowest combined total of judges' scores and America's votes over the two nights of performances.

On Tuesday night's show, Nikki and Gleb Savchenko performed the salsa and walked away with 18 points from the judges. Their total combined score for the week was 35 points, as the couple had earned 17 points on Monday night for their salsa routine.

The other four couples in jeopardy of going home were model and Cover Girl Alexis Ren and partner Alan Bersten, former Olympic gymnast Mary Lou Retton and partner Sasha Farber, downhill skier Danelle Umstead and partner Artem Chigvintsev, and actress and Facts of Life alum Nancy McKeon and partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

Alexis and Alan danced the jive and earned 23 points from the judges on Tuesday, which added to their initial score of 21 points for a combined total of 44 points.

Mary Lou and Sasha danced the cha cha and earned 21 points from the judges during the live show. When adding in their 19 points from Monday night's cha cha routine, the couple ended the week with a combined total of 40 points.

Nancy and Val danced a 21-point worthy quickstep routine during the live results show, which added to the first score of the season -- 18 points for their quickstep routine. The pair therefore ended the week with a combined total of 39 judges' points.

Danelle and Artem took the stage with a foxtrot routine and received 18 points from the panel on Tuesday. Their combined two-night score was 36 points, which included 18 points from their foxtrot routine on Monday night's show.

The big surprise of the night was Bachelor in Paradise's Joe Amabile and partner Jenna Johnson landing in the top half of home-viewer voting totals considering they had finished in thirteenth -- and last -- place on the judging leaderboard Monday night.
