Alfonso Ribeiro, the champion of Season 19 with pro Witney Carson, will be joining regular judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli to critique Season 21's batch of contestants, People reported.

"Guest judging on Dancing with the Stars is like returning home for me but with the big twist of being on the other side of the judge's table, which is both a relief and exciting," Ribeiro, 44, told People.

Ribeiro will guest judge "TV Week" on Dancing with the Stars for its September 28 episode at 8PM ET/PT on ABC, when the celebrity and professional pairings will pay tribute to iconic television shows.

Ribeiro is the new host of America's Funniest Home Videos, which was previously hosted by DWTS presenter Tom Bergeron. Prior to his stint on Dancing with the Stars, Ribeiro was best known for his longtime role as Carlton on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air starring Will Smith.

Ribeiro, a dad of three, won the mirror-ball trophy with Carson in 2014, defeating DWTS runner-up Sadie Robertson and third-place finisher Janel Parrish.
