Dancing with the Stars pro Alan Bersten and his romance with model Alexis Ren appears to be over.

A fan recently asked Alexis on Instagram what happened with the 24-year-old professional dancer because it appears they've gone their separate ways since filming wrapped on Dancing with the Stars two weeks ago, and she replied, "Feelings aren't black and white and neither is life."
The 22-year-old Cover Girl and social media sensation continued, "We're focused on our careers and growing as individuals. He's an amazing person and I'm grateful he came into my life. He is on his own journey and I respect that."
Earlier this week, Alan played coy during an interview with Entertainment Tonight about the current status of his romance.
"You know, we're talking," Alan said of Alexis with a nod and a shrug. "She's in Japan right now and I'm about to go on tour, so we'll see."
Fellow Dancing with the Stars pro Witney Carson then chimed in on why she believes things might've cooled down between Alan and Alexis.
"It's like The Bachelor. It never really quite works after [the show is over]," Witney told ET with Alan by her side.
"What are you trying to say!?" Alan half-jokingly asked.

"I just mean, like, you guys are going on to different things! I don't know," Witney explained with a laugh.
"Just because, like, the whole scene with you guys kissing [on the show], I'm like, 'That is literally The Bachelor.' And I'm a Bachelor fan, so I know how these things work."

Alan and Alexis slowly developed and expressed their feelings for one another as the Dancing with the Stars season progressed, and the drama culminated into an arguably cringe-worthy, staged kiss in a package that aired before one of their dances.
However, the couple claimed they were the real deal and looked forward to pursuing their connection outside of the show, away from cameras and somewhere other than in dance rehearsals.
Alan and Alexis finished in fourth place on Dancing with the Stars.
Alan is now going on tour with the show and told ET he would "of course" be asking Alexis to sit in the audience at one of his performances.
