Former Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff has announced she's pregnant and expecting her first child.

Karina posted an Instagram photo of herself smiling and holding up a positive pregnancy test. She was also flashing fans the peace sign.
"Thanks @FirstReponsePregnancy for confirming that I will have a little one to train on the dance floor! #BabySmirnoff coming in 2020!" Karina, 41, captioned the photo.
"And since it's the holiday season, it's the perfect time to give back! I'm happily going to donate $5K to @ResolveOrg to support all couples and families on their pregnancy journeys. Karina said she's "super excited to start a new chapter" in her life, People reported.
"I've always wanted to be a mom. I have so many emotions that I'm going through. I'm nervous, excited, over the moon happy and overwhelmed," the brunette beauty gushed to the magazine.
"Everyone has been so great, gracious and has given me so much information. I'm just trying to keep up! But I'm very grateful for the gift I've been given. I can't wait to be a mom."
Karina reportedly chose not to disclose the identity of the father.
The pro dancer and choreographer has been wanting a child in her life for years now.

Going back to 2015, Karina told People shortly after calling off her engagement to Jason Adelman, "I'm at the place in my life that I want to be a mom more than anything and I want to be a wife."

"I want to live for another human being and give that little guy or girl everything I have," she added at the time.
Karina had previously been engaged to both pro baseball player Brad Penny and former Dancing with the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Although Karina and Brad had allegedly set a wedding date of January, 21, 2012, they ended their engagement and split in December 2011 after dating for a little over two years.
Shortly before Karina began dating Brad in October 2009, she and Maksim had broken off their engagement and called it quits.
Karina had also been involved in high-profile romances with Mario Lopez, her third-season Dancing with the Stars partner, and The Bachelorette villain Chad Johnson on Famously Single.
Karina won the Dancing with the Stars' mirrorball trophy one time with J.R. Martinez in Season 13. The last time she competed as a pro on the reality dancing competition was Season 22 with Doug Flutie.
