Reports that Julianne Hough will be returning for Dancing with the Stars' eleventh season this fall are premature, according a show representative.

"The pro cast is determined by what celebrities are cast," said the rep, who noted that Dancing with the Stars' current tenth-season cast did not include other familiar professional dancers like Karina Smirnoff, Lacey Schwimmer and Kym Johnson because the show selects each season's professionals based on their fit with the season's celebrity participants.
Hough last competed on Dancing with the Stars during the show's Spring 2009 eighth season. She competed with Chuck Wicks, her boyfriend at the time, however the pair later split.
Should it happen, Hough's Dancing with the Stars return would coincide with the release of her second album and Burlesque, a new film that will be her first major movie role.
