A bride and groom, both football fans, exchanged wedding vows Saturday in the end zone of the Florida Citrus Bowl at the University of Central Florida.

Debbie McGregor, 37, escorted her sons, 13-year-old RJ and 10-year-old Tyler, out the door to the ceremony on the Golden Knights home field a few hours before the kickoff of the team's season opener, the Orlando Sentinel reported Sunday.
Groom Gary Gotwalt, 37, waited beneath the goal post.
The Sentinel learned that the marriage almost didn't happen, as both parties almost bailed out when set up on a blind date by a mutual co-worker.
"We were both kind of stuck in the '80s; that was the first clue," Gotwalt recalled days before the wedding. "I like big-hair bands, and there she was still wearing the Olivia Newton-John legwarmers and the high-top Reeboks."
The wedding was followed by a reception -- a tailgate party of hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches at a nearby soccer field.
