Council officials and police raided the home of Paul and Amanda Cregan and seized the couple's $3,449 TV and $620 music system, The Daily Telegraph reported Thursday.
The officials said the "noise making items" were seized after neighbors repeatedly complained about the noise coming from the home even after a noise abatement order was issued in 2006, the newspaper said.
"Noise nuisance is a serious annoyance," said Andy Glover of Rochdale council.
Officials said the Cregans will have to pay the council nearly $550 to reclaim their property, The Daily Telegraph said.
