Aldean, who was performing onstage as the shooting started, shared his condolences for those who were affected by the tragedy and confirmed that he was safe on Instagram alongside a photo of Las Vegas captioned "Pray for Las Vegas."

"Tonight has been beyond horrific. I still don't know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that Me and my Crew are safe. My Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight," Aldean captioned the image.

"It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night. #heartbroken #stopthehate," he continued.

Owen, who had performed before Aldean, shared an update on Twitter as the shooting rampage unfolded.

"Gun shots!!! Vegas. Pray to god. Love you guys. Love you Pearl," he wrote, mentioning his baby daughter Pearl.

"Praying for everyone here in Vegas. I witnessed the most unimaginable event tonight. We are okay. Others arent. Please pray," Owen tweeted hours later.

Luke Combs, who was at the festival closing out the Next From Nashville secondary stage, also updated fans on Twitter during the incident. "Active shooter at @Route91Harvest in Vegas. We're safe. Love you guys," Combs shared.

Josh Abbot wrote on Twitter how he and the Josh Abbot Band were safe, but that he was unable to get to his fiancee who was staying at the Mandalay Bay where the shooter had opened fire from the 32nd floor.

"Everyone in JAB is accounted for. They evacuated us from Mandalay. My fiancee is still in room. They won't let me in but she's safe," Abbot wrote.

Another festival performer Dylan Scott noted that he just left for the airport. "Prayers to everyone at @Route91Harvest in Las Vegas. We are ok, had literally just left for the airport. What is wrong with this world!!" he wrote.

Mariah Carey and Celine Dion, who have had residencies in Las Vegas, also shared prayers and well wishes on Twitter.

"Horrified to hear about the shooting in #LasVegas. My thoughts are with the victims and their families. Praying for everyone's safety," Carey stated.

"Praying for all the innocent victims and their families in Las Vegas," added Dion.

At least 50 people died with more than 200 injured during the shooting attack. Authorities confirmed that the suspected gunman was killed by police.
