The Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter broke her shoulder last weekend at her Hurricane Mills, Tenn., home and underwent surgery Thursday, her spokesman told reporters. Lynn, 71, is expected to make a full recovery.
The "Coal Miner's Daughter" will remain hospitalized through the weekend then recuperate at home, E! Online reported.
The injury has forced the cancelation of nine concerts, which will be made up at a later date.
