Corinne Olympios has confessed she got engaged after competing for Nick Viall's heart on The Bachelor although she publicly denied such rumors earlier this year.

Corinne revealed on Tuesday's episode of The Morning Breath podcast that an ex-boyfriend proposed marriage to her once she returned home to Miami, FL, from filming The Bachelor's 21st season in late 2016.

"A lot of people don't know this," Corinne said of her engagement. "It was exactly a year ago. Literally yesterday [November 13] I got engaged last year."

Corinne, 26, filmed The Bachelor in the fall of last year, and Nick sent her packing following the women's round of hometown dates during which the Bachelor met her family.

"I got home and he showed up at my house with a ring," Corinne revealed of her ex, whom she had dated prior to looking for love on reality TV.

"Yes, [I died]," Corinne said of the shocking proposal. "Yes, I did."

While Corinne accepted this man's hand in marriage, their romance seemed to quickly go sour. Corinne said on the podcast, for instance, her then-fiance required she remove both of her tattoos before tying the knot because he's "very religious."

Corinne obliged at the time, but after the pair split -- and Corinne didn't reveal why or when -- the blonde beauty decided to ink herself again with a heart on her foot to symbolize "following your heart."

As for what she did with the diamond ring, Corinne said, "I gave it back. I could never keep something like that. I would never do that."

Multiple sources told Us Weekly in early March 2017 that Corinne was engaged, but she subsequently denied the claim.

"I'm not engaged," Corinne told Us at the time. "I don't know. I'm hearing so many different things. It's just that people love to talk, I guess."

Also during the podcast, Corinne announced she's currently dating someone new, although their relationship is not yet official.

Corinne also confirmed she's definitely not romantically involved with anyone from The Bachelor franchise, including her Bachelor in Paradise 4 co-star and close friend DeMario Jackson, whom she's been spotted out with numerous times since their headline-making sex scandal this past summer.
