Corinne Olympios is a woman The Bachelor star Nick Viall can't help but praise after their "terrible" goodbye.

Nick eliminated Corinne during a Rose Ceremony in Brooklyn, NY, shortly after meeting her family during her hometown date in Miami, FL. During the lunch portion of that date, the blonde beauty admitted to Nick that she had fallen in love with him, so naturally her ouster was a crushing blow.

"Saying goodbye to Corinne was terrible," Nick wrote in his People blog of the bachelorette who bawled once the Bachelor rejected her in Monday night's episode. "Corinne is an exceptional woman who made such an impact on me during this journey."

Nick said he shared "so many memorable moments" with Corinne, who had fans talking since the show's Season 21 January premiere, "from our first kiss the night we met to bouncy castles and meeting her amazing family (and her nanny Raquel!)."

Corinne was always unapologetically herself, which resulted in her "villain" label and constant drama in The Bachelor house.

Corinne pursued Nick aggressively by taking her bikini top off during a group date, asking the Bachelor to lick whipped cream off her bare chest and attempting to seduce him inside his Bimini hotel room. She rubbed her fellow bachelorettes the wrong way until she seemingly became vulnerable and insecure in her relationship with Nick further into the process.

"Corinne, much like myself, was considered controversial; she wasn't always taken seriously in the house, she went after what she wanted and she is a bold woman," Nick said, referencing how he was a polarizing character on both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe's seasons of The Bachelorette.

"What I saw was a woman who deserves more credit in this world," he said of Corinne. "[She] is truly one of the most interesting, caring and charismatic women I've ever known."

The only good reason Nick apparently had to let Corinne go was he felt his other relationships with his Final 3 bachelorettes, Rachel Lindsay, Vanessa Grimaldi and Raven Gates, were stronger.

"But to this day I miss Corinne," Nick confessed, "and she deserves all the love in the world."

Although Nick had to break up with Corinne on The Bachelor, he hopes The Women Tell All special won't be the last time he sees her.

"I really hope that she and I can be friends in the future, maybe get to a place like Andi and I have gotten to?" Nick explained. "Next week we reunite and speak for the first time during The Bachelor: Women Tell All. Trust me you won't want to miss what she has to say."
